Who is Eric Stromberg?

On opening night, Commedia Beauregard had an epic silent auction.  One item of which was held in higher regard than any other.  We auctioned off a chance to be in the show!

Tonight (Thursday, December 27th, 2012) will be another epic event, because this is the night that Eric Stromberg, the winner of that auction item, will be donning ridges and declaring his own Klingon-ness for all to see and hear.

So who is Eric Stromberg?  You’ll have your chance to find out after the show.  Not unlike all of our performances, audience members will be able to come on stage right after the bows and talk to the actors.  That’ll be your chance to check in with Eric and see what it was like to be one of us for one night.

What will Eric’s evening entail?  Well, he’ll arrive at the same time as the actors.  He’ll be put through the paces of a rigorous fight rehearsal.  He’ll be fitted for his own head piece, and he’ll suit up in his Klingon armor piece.  Thereafter, he’ll be on the edge of his seat anticipating his three lines (one solo and two with the whole cast) in scene 6!

When you attend tonight, you’ll be able to see Eric revel at the veSIwIq party!

You don’t want to miss out!

Commedia Beauregard is a non-profit theatre company that produces theatre in Chicago and Minneapolis/Saint Paul. The company is dedicated to producing theatre in translation. This often means works form one language into another. However, the company does explore what it means to translate, as well. Commedia Beauregard has been making theatre since 1999. It relocated its permanent base of operations to Chicago in 2011.
