Sex, Lies, and Cunning Villany!

A virtuous woman...
A wealthy playboy...
A manipulative schemer...
A corrupt man of the cloth...
And an idiot husband...

Do the ends justify the means of The Mandrake?

Through the manipulation and spin-doctoring of a political master, a wealthy playboy is able to pursue the love of the world's most beautiful and virtuous woman. This play is what happens when history's greatest political mind applies his "the ends justify the means" philosophy to the exploits of lovers and fools. It's a tragically humorous tale of beauty, corruption, and the rise to power.

[The Mandrake] rushes headlong toward the most happily cynical ending in recent memory.
