Master Works: The Louvre It Or Leave It Plays

October 2010: Bryant-Lake Bowl Cabaret Theater, Minneapolis, MN

Local artists teamed up to translate six modern masterpieces from the collection of the Museum Louvre It or Leave It (Minneapolis, MN).  Walking through the Minneapolis skyway system, you may have encountered a series of storefronts populated by works of modern art. You may have even stopped to contemplate the meaning of what you saw. That's what we asked our playwrights to do, as we tackled the collection of The Museum Louvre It or Leave It, the fourth edition of the Master Works series. The program featured one sculpture, two photographs and three paintings, all by contemporary artists.
